Biosphere-Atmosphere Greenhouse Gas Fluxes in Terrestrial Ecosystems IV Posters

Session Description:
Observation networks such as FLUXNET, AmeriFlux and NEON have been established to measure the exchange of trace gases, water and energy between the biosphere and atmosphere, providing unprecedented insights into how ecosystems function and facilitating a more comprehensive understanding of biosphere-atmosphere interactions. This session will focus on the current state and new perspectives from studies of ecosystem greenhouse gas and energy fluxes. We welcome contributions using various approaches (experimental, stable isotopes, modelling) and scales. Multi-tower syntheses, advances in the partitioning of ecosystem fluxes and measurement theory, new insights into ecosystem physiology, and studies examining ecosystem responses to disturbance events (e.g. climate extremes) are especially encouraged.
