Renewable Energy: Marine, Wave, Hydrokinetic, and Open Topics II Posters

Session ID#: 7935

Session Description:
The Renewable Energy: Marine, Wave, and Hydrokinetic session will focus on the science, technology and policy issues of wave, current, and tidal energy conversion for electric utilities. Studies focusing on environmental effects of marine hydrokinetic energy devices (e.g., acoustic and electromagnetic influences to aquatic and benthic species, altered hydrodynamics, water quality, and sediment transport, or changes to currents, wave regimes, and tidal ranges), environmental monitoring, device performance evaluation, and resource assessment are of interest. Studies in riverine environments are also appropriate. Wave-energy converters will also be a focus. International and early career researchers are particularly invited to submit.  This session is coordinated with the other three sessions on renewable energy focusing Wind, Solar, and Integration-Policy-Open topics.
