Theoretical and Practical Advancements on Seismic Interferometry and Ambient Noise IV Posters

Session Description:
Ambient noise has proven to be a valuable source of information about the Earth's structure and its changing properties. The number of studies using interferometry as a tool to extract information from seismic signals increases constantly, leading to new developments in both method and interpretation.
In this session, we will cover all aspects of seismic interferometry and ambient noise based seismology. We invite contributions concerning multi-scale applications using seismic noise or interferometry, such as imaging structure and monitoring subsurface changes. This extends to evaluations of the accuracy of noise-based measurements for use in tomography or time-dependent imaging.
Of interest are also theoretical advances, such as those exploring the role of source distribution or scattering, as well as methodological improvements and alternative processing techniques aimed to improve the quality of the correlations. Finally, we welcome abstracts investigating the sources of ambient seismic noise (microseisms, hum, microbaroms, etc) and their generation processes.
