Abstract:
The ionosphere changes continuously and globally due to drivers from the Sun, magnetosphere and lower atmosphere. Satellite based remote sensing provides an advantage in monitoring ionosphere conditions on a global scale. We will discuss how the remote sensing, such as far ultraviolet, etc. advances our understanding of the ionospheric dynamics and provides inputs to simulation/assimilation models.
