Abstract:
This presentation will explore the links between ecosystem functioning, the underlying plant traits and biogeochemical cycling which are all co-varying with climate. Special emphasis will be given if biological adaptation can be detected from ecosystem level data, interpreted as changing ecosytem functional properties, and whether this can be interpreted as changes in traits. A modelling experiment will pursue the consequences for biogeochemical feedbacks.
