Abstract:
The Aerosols, Clouds, Ecosystems (ACE) Decadal Survey mission includes a multi-wavelength lidar for profiling aerosol physical properties. We use numerical simulation to study the performance of candidate lidar systems and study inversions of micro-physical properties from the simulated lidar measurements.
