H41C:
Dual Impact of Urbanization and Climate Change on Watershed Hydrological Responses II Posters

Submit an Abstract to this Session Please know the abstract submission deadline has passed. There are no exceptions to this deadline and no new abstracts can be submitted.

Session ID#: 12635

Session Description:
Urbanization and climate change are two phenomena observed and their impacts on watershed hydrological responses are obvious, this session is to explore these impacts quantitatively from 5 sub-topics. 1) Urbanization processes in the past and future decades at city, watershed or regional scale, such as the land cover/use, impervious surface and city structure changes detected by remote sensing and other techniques; 2) Climate changes at regional or watershed scales, such as temperature, precipitation and other index changes that may cause hydrological response changes; 3) Hydrological models that could be employed to simulate the hydrological responses at watershed scale, particularly distributed hydrological model and other models that could be used in ungauged watershed and could be driven by the above urbanization and climate change index; 4) Watershed hydrological response changes induced by urbanization, or/and climate changes. A special issue will be published in internationally refereed journal after the meeting.
