Nonlinear Systems-Level Analysis of the Phytobiome, Including Plants, Insects, Microbiomes, Soils, Hydrology, Aerosols, and Other Atmospheric Properties Posters

Session Description:
Phytobiomes consist of plants, their associated communities of organisms, and their geophysical environment. Improved understanding of systems-level Phytobiome community interactions are needed to advance food security and sustain a growing global population. The geophysical environment includes interactions, sensitivities, feedbacks, and constraints with respect to weather and climatic trends and events, biological aerosols, hydrology, soils, and atmospheric properties. These geophysical interactions are critical constraints to growth, health, and sustainability. This session focuses on analysis methodologies used to explore, integrate, optimize, and apply knowledge advances within all components and system interactions, including process-level studies of interactions between components. This includes methods such as genomics, metagenomics, proteomics, and rapid phenotyping analysis using pattern recognition methods, statistical inference methods, Bayesian methods, assessment of systems interactions using life cycle analysis assessments, data fusion techniques, among other possible methods. This session highlights methods for knowledge transference in and between the various Phytobiome components under different constraints.
