Session ID#: 13102

Session Description:
Effective and sustainable management of groundwater resources requires an ability to evaluate and monitor groundwater quantity and quality. In this session we focus on the application of geophysical methods using subsurface, surface, airborne, or satellite sensors to obtain the information needed about subsurface properties and processes. Of interest are examples related to all aspects of groundwater evaluation and management including, but not limited to, development of hydrostratigraphic models, assessment of aquifer properties, monitoring of natural/managed processes. All approaches are of interest including laboratory and field experiments, theoretical and numerical modeling.
