Solid Earth-Cryosphere Interactions II Posters
Submit an Abstract to this Session
Please know the abstract submission deadline has passed. There are no exceptions to this deadline and no new abstracts can be submitted.
You can still search the program to see your colleagues abstract submissions as well as the sessions submitted for the 2016 Fall Meeting. The final program will be released in early October.
Session ID#: 13271
Session Description:
Past and present glacial systems incorporate important interactions with the solid Earth via elastic, viscoelastic, hydrological, thermal, erosional, volcanic, and other processes. We invite contributions related to observational, mechanism, and modeling studies related to cryosphere, solid Earth, and, where applicable, marine and hydrological interactions, that drive the co-evolution of cryospheric-solid Earth systems. Topics may include seismological, geological, isostatic adjustment, volcanological, geodetic, amd airborne/spaceborne geophysical studies focusing on joint processes affecting glacial systems and the solid Earth.
