Advances of Airborne Survey in Near Surface Geophysics: From Geologic Framework Studies to Hazard Investigation II Posters

Session Description:
Airborne geophysical surveys provide detailed information about near surface geology and structure. Enhanced by of the increasing popularity of Unoccupied aerial vehicles or drones, airborne geophysics is increasingly being used in wide applications from mineral explorations to natural hazard investigations. For example, high-resolution airborne geophysics such as EM and magnetics, as well as NMR and petrophysics, may be used to identify water and clays that increase landslide risks. The growing number of individual studies utilizing airborne geophysical surveys should now be accompanied by discussions on novel applications and limitations of various aspects of geophysics.

We invite submissions on practical applications of airborne geophysical surveys as well as theory, modeling, data processing, instrumentation, survey design, monitoring and joint interpretation with other geophysical observables. Topics on related ground-based geophysics and petrophysics are also welcome.
