Session Description:
Hydrology is increasingly collaborative.  Addressing the big problems of hydrology requires integration of information from multiple sources, data sharing and publication, and the marshalling of computational resources to support data intensive modeling and analysis.  Cloud and grid computing systems are increasingly used to crunch data too big for desktop platforms, but access to, and the ability to use such systems remains a challenge.  We seek contributions of work that has advanced hydrologic understanding that would not have been possible without large data and modeling cyberinfrastructure and that also involved collaboration.  We also seek contributions on the advancement of cyberinfrastructure to support data intensive collaborative hydrologic science and the use of such systems to address wicked challenges in transparent and reproducible ways to strengthen trust in research outcomes.
