Session ID#: 16078
Session Description:
East Asia, particularly China, is a major source region of air pollutants and greenhouse gases. Recent growth in its emissions, air pollution and greenhouse gases not only has caused dramatic domestic environmental problems, but has also raised concerns of long-range pollution transport and climate change. East Asia is also affected by other world regions via similar mechanisms. However, emissions, pollution and greenhouse gases in this region are still relatively poorly understood. This session will focus on East Asian air pollution, greenhouse gases and emissions and its interactions with other world regions.
