Session Description:
In recent decades, there has been rising cost and damages due to more severe
and frequent occurrences of hydrologic extremes worldwide, which could
predominantly be due to human influence.  This session will consider studies
on theoretical and applied advances, impacts and risk assessment, changing
climate and environment such as  drought, floods, extreme storms, tropical
cyclones, hurricanes, Asian monsoon, etc., related to global warming impacts
projected in IPCC reports, or impacts of climate anomalies, and
environmental changes.
