Recent Advances in SAR Technology for Earth Observation II Posters

Session Description:
We are entering a golden age of civilian SAR remote sensing with ~10 satellites on orbit and a fleet of new SAR satellites (including NISAR) to be launched by 2020. A challenge for the community going forward is how to access data from the entire international constellation and have the open software tools to manipulate it.  To meet this challenge, WInSAR is a consortium engaged in SAR research and education. WInSAR operational support is provided by UNAVCO, who maintains licensing, distribution and trainings to WInSAR members for radar imagery and processing software. This session solicits papers showcasing recent developments from WInSAR members and others in SAR sensor technology, community InSAR software tools, and provision of publicly-accessible InSAR products and services.  We welcome contributions on recent advances in data processing techniques including big data and cloud-based processing and on the scientific values of InSAR data to Earth science problems.
