A31B:
Atmospheric Impacts of Emissions from the Unconventional Oil and Gas Sector II Posters

Submit an Abstract to this Session

Session ID#: 22555

Session Description:
Increased development and exploitation of unconventional oil and gas resources in North America has raised concerns about the associated impact on the atmosphere. Studies in the last decade have indicated significant emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants from these sources. This session solicits presentations investigating emissions from the unconventional oil and gas sector to the atmosphere and their impact on air quality and climate, with a particular emphasis on recent field studies quantifying these emissions.
