Novel Instrument Techniques for Space Plasma: In Situ and Remote Sensing Posters

Session Description:
This session will focus on novel instrument techniques to observe space plasmas in a wide variety of regions in the field of Heliophysics and Planetary sciences. Challenging science targets have been advanced by emerging technologies throughout the space era, and recent technological advances provide low-cost, low-power, light-weight, high-resolution, high-accuracy, and wide-dynamic-range investigations that can enhance the technical capabilities and scientific closure of next generation missions. Abstracts are solicited that investigate and develop instruments for in-situ studies of particles (thermal, suprathermal to energetic plasmas ranging eV to MeV, and neutral gas including bulk features and mass spectrometry) and fields (electric and magnetic fields from low to high frequencies), and remote studies of energetic neutral atoms and photons (from the near infrared to x-rays).
