Renewable Energy: Solar and Open Topics

Session Description:
Solar renewable energy is a critical part of the discussion as the Earth’s land, water, energy and food needs are being reconsidered to support stability and sustainability. The Earth Sciences plays a large role in identifying locations for optimal solar use, and the reliability and the effects of solar power. This session welcomes all Earth Sciences research as it pertains to solar renewable energy, energy transmission and the impacts of renewable energy on the environment. International and early career researchers are particularly invited to submit. This session is coordinated with the other two sessions on renewable energy focusing Wind, and Marine-Wave-Hydrokinetics.
