H11E:
General Surface Hydrology III Posters
Submit an Abstract to this Session
Session ID#: 24952
Session Description:
This session highlights general contributions from the hydrology community and encourages studies related to the broad spectrum of surface water. Processes and methodologies that integrate interdisciplinary collaborations and approaches to understand hydrologic systems may include, but are not limited to geochemical and hydrologic cycling, forecasting, numerical modeling, ground-based and remotely-sensed observations, geomorphic processes, anthropogenic impacts, sustainable infrastructures, and climate. This session seeks contributions from the research, operational, and professional communities that synthesize the science and practice of surface water hydrology in decision support and management in operational settings across multidisciplinary issues. We welcome work related to water resources, such as studies with relevant social, economic, engineering, and policy implications. Additionally, we encourage submission of abstracts for surface water topics not encompassed by other Fall Meeting sessions and contributions from students and early-career scientists.
