ED018:
Education through Exploration: Research and Practice through Digital Platforms

Session ID#: 26849

Session Description:
The use of digital environments is an ever growing field to bring learning and outreach interactive experiences to new audiences. These digital platforms and related technologies offer access to copious real-time analytical data on knowledge and behaviors that can enable assessment and research studies to better understand diverse populations of users.  We invite presentations from designers, instructors, evaluators, and researchers on experiences, best practices, and lessons learned related to teaching and outreach through digital platforms. We welcome presentations that focus on curriculum and instruction and assessment.
Primary Convener:  Sanlyn Buxner, Planetary Science Institute Tucson, Tucson, AZ, United States
Conveners:  Sheri Klug Boonstra, Mars Space Flight Facility, ASU School of Earth and Space Exploration, Tempe, AZ, United States and Ariel D Anbar, Arizona State University, School of Molecular Sciences, Tempe, AZ, United States
