H073:
Advances in experimental techniques, validation of modelling tools and uncertainty in predictions from pore to field scale

Session ID#: 26947

Session Description:
We welcome contributions related to development of experimental techniques that provide benchmark datasets; validation studies based on experiment, analytical and numerical models; and studies providing an assessment of uncertainty in predictions across scales. This session aims to bring together a diverse group of researchers from the range of disciplines, including but not restricted to contaminant transport in surface and subsurface hydrology, geological storage of CO2 and gas/oil recovery.
Primary Convener:  Branko Bijeljic, Imperial College London, London, SW7, United Kingdom
Conveners:  Masa Prodanovic, The University of Texas at Austin, Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering, Austin, TX, United States and Matteo Icardi, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Thuwal, Saudi Arabia
