Session Description:
To advance our understanding of freshwater, ecosystem and agricultural sustainability, quantification of uncertainties due to climate change, land use change, and estimation of water supply and demand resulting from growth in urban areas and agriculture are required. Submissions are invited on topics related to: (i) quantifying uncertainty in regional water supply assessment under changes in climate, land use and population growth, (ii) reducing uncertainty in assessing freshwater, ecosystem and agricultural sustainability arising from climate scenarios, models and initial conditions, (iii) development of better water and agricultural management strategies to promote ecosystem services and improve water quality, and (iv) new approaches and techniques for improving assessment of regional scale sustainability.
