Advanced Information Systems to Support Climate Projection Data Analysis

Session Description:
Critical scientific research now requires unprecedented volumes of data that can no longer be readily downloaded for data analysis. Additionally, it is becoming more important for disparate data sets to be brought together to accelerate the understanding of the Earth system. New and emerging information systems designed for large-scale climate data analysis are now required to enable fundamental scientific exploration across these large and diverse data sets. Oral presentations and posters are invited that deal with new ways to approach and analyze the avalanche of data in an HPC environment.
