Session ID#: 27382
Session Description:
Environmental challenges are often global and multifaceted. The researchers need access to data and services across national and disciplinary boundaries. Collaboration can also lead to better sustainablity, lessened costs and most importantly, lessened barriers to the researchers.
This session is to share solutions, challenges and experiences from initiatives involved in building environmental data and services infrastructures. The session invites presentations from initiatives, communities and projects building such common solutions. Do you have a regional project and consider sharing your experiences? Do you have a data infrastructure practice you think should be more widely used? There is a new data infrastructure technology your community has developed? A common access scheme you think should be global? Please join in and tell others as well!
