Session Description:
The Atmospheric and Space Electricity focus group established the Franklin Lecture to recognize outstanding scientists in any field of ASE. The Franklin Lecture, named in honor of Benjamin Franklin, is a broad overview of a selected ASE topic of interest to an interdisciplinary audience. Since 2004, the Franklin Lecture has been presented biannually at the AGU Fall Meeting.
