Advances in Spectral and Polarimetric Remote Sensing of the Atmosphere, Land, and Ocean I
Session ID#: 30779
Session Description:
Remote sensing of the atmospheric composition together with ocean and land surface characterization is crucial to understand our planet Earth. Technological advancements, such as multi-angle polarimetry, high spectral resolution lidar, and other techniques, show the potential to improve the breadth and accuracy of such observations. The goal of this session is to showcase recent advances in state-of-the-art instrumentation, new sensor concepts, and associated radiative transfer theory and data analysis from multi-angle, hyperspectral, polarimetric and lidar instruments. Papers from all stages of instrumental and theoretical development are welcome. Presentations on data analysis from recent field campaigns are also encouraged.
