Quantifying and Attributing Climate Change Impacts: Indicators, Models, and Cross-Sectoral Approaches II Posters

Session Description:
Climate change impacts many economic and societal sectors - from food production to infrastructure to health - and interacts with other major drivers of global change, such as land-use change or population growth. Therefore, to accurately quantify the global impacts of future climate change, two things are necessary: impacts must be integrated across sectors; and climate change as a driver must be separated from other drivers, without neglecting the potential interactions between different drivers. This session invites research that contributes to such a holistic impact assessment and attribution - for example, by studying impacts in multiple sectors; or by using methods that allow comparison across sectors (e.g. a consistent model simulation framework such as ISIMIP); or by attributing observed or projected impacts or damages to different drivers. We welcome studies presenting new and relevant analyses as well as those focusing on methodological innovations.
