Climate Change Impact on Hydrological Processes: Need for New Data, Measurement Approaches, and Numerical Modeling II Posters

Session Description:
The impacts of climate change on hydrological processes are of interests to researchers, engineers, and policy makers because such information is required for water management including flood control and water resources management. This session seeks emerging methodologies and case studies under the evolving climate this century on water balances, flooding, and drought conditions. This session also identifies the gaps in existing water databases (water availability, scarcity, pollution, water footprint, water productivity, consumption, behaviour patterns etc.) and presents challenges and emerging approaches in collecting, processing and sharing applications of remote sensing, hydrological modelling, water footprint accounting, innovative data harmonization, potential use of the Internet and other forms of real time data collection and sharing platforms.
