From the Earth to the Moons: Cryospheres in the Solar System I Posters

Session Description:
Several bodies in the Solar System support widespread and long-lived cryospheres, including the Earth, Mars, Ceres, and distant icy satellites. Processes on these bodies are often similar, allowing for comparative planetology. However, each body has processes unique to itself, such as ice-water interactions on Earth, carbon dioxide ice on Mars, shallow subsurface oceans on Europa and Enceladus, and beyond. Bringing together Earth and planetary studies of cryospheric processes is the aim of this session, which invites abstracts on any topic involving in-situ and/or remote-sensing observations, experimental/modeling campaigns, or fieldwork analog of the cryospheric processes of these ice/ocean bodies and how they change through time. Abstracts presenting new results from ongoing or recent investigations are especially encouraged.
