Session Description:
We invite numerical, laboratory, and field investigations aimed at optimizing resolution of small (< few to tens of meters) targets in the near surface. We hope to facilitate cross-disciplinary advances. Archeological, forensic, engineering, UXO, and landmine applications share similar scales of imaging, and recent advances in any of these methods may be fruitful for other types of investigations. We also encourage multi-method studies combining and/or assessing the merits of individual techniques, and studies describing how challenges that arise in urban environments can be overcome.
