Network with successful women scientists, share stories, and learn best practices for addressing professional challenges. This event is especially designed for the benefit of student and early-career female scientists. Come, relax, meet your colleagues, and enjoy light refreshments at this special 2-hour event. Experienced women and men are encouraged to attend as mentors and advisors to help nurture the next generation of female scientists. This session draws more than 400 female scientists from around the world and from all career levels. The Networking Reception for Early-Career Female Scientists and Students is being cohosted by several organizations including the American Geophysical Union, the Association for Women Geoscientists (AWG), and the Earth Science Women's Network (ESWN).
