Convective Clouds: Processes, Dynamics, and Links to Weather and Climate I Posters

Session Description:
Convection plays a key role in the climate system through precipitation, latent heating, and the transport of mass and energy. There are still many unanswered questions about the processes occurring in convective clouds, however advances in high-resolution modeling and the wealth of observations available have allowed much progress in this area in recent years.
In this session we invite presentations on research related to convective clouds, including precipitation formation, latent and radiative heating, dynamics, and upscale feedbacks. Both observational and modeling studies are encouraged to participate.
We especially encourage submissions offering new ways to improve process-level understanding of convection.
