PA31D:
The Fourth National Climate Assessment: Highlighting Impacts, Risks, and Responses Across Sectors and Regions of the United States Posters

Submit an Abstract to this Session

Session ID#: 49856

Session Description:
The Nation's authoritative assessment of climate impacts, the Fourth National Climate Assessment Volume II: Impacts, Risks, and Adaptation in the United States (NCA4 Vol. II), is scheduled for release in late 2018.  It was developed by more than 300 authors from across the country representing many different disciplines, and focuses on the ecological, societal, and economic aspects of climate change for ten regions and seventeen national topics across the U.S. The assessment is written for a broad audience and is intended to inform Federal decision makers, resource managers, community planners, and all who are interested in better understanding the effects of climate change on the U.S.

This collection of posters illustrates the impacts and risks of climate change to specific sectors, topics, and regions of the United States. They also showcase examples of successful adaptation efforts.
