Session Description:
The recent decade has seen a flurry of exciting new developments and activities in the intersection of sensor technologies, data analytics and data assimilation in many fields of science. With a later start, geosciences in the past year has begun to move ahead and pick up steam in this new paradigm of data driven science. We solicit a group of experts in using Data Science, Machine Learning and High Performance Computing to discuss how Artificial Intelligence and new ways to communicate science, such as Jupyter Notebooks, will innovate the Geosciences.
