Environment, Health, and Infectious Disease: The Rapidly Changing Landscape of Geohealth Posters

Session Description:
AGU’s new section on GeoHealth expands and energizes this critical, emerging, and interdisciplinary area of science with the goal of building productive connections among scientists and decision makers from allied disciplines, including those who are not traditionally members of AGU.

This session will showcase examples of cutting edge projects and initiatives that are leading the way in working across boundaries – whether disciplinary, organizational, or geographic – that are urgently needed to further understanding of and response to complex issues related to environmental health and infectious diseases.  The goal is to bring together those innovators “without borders” and welcome contributions representing national, international, and interdisiplinary approaches from the biological, physical, and social sciences (for example, ecology, entomology and vector control, climate science, geospatial data and mapping, conservation, sustainable development, education, citizen science, public health and policy).
