Evolving the Resilience Ecosystem to Meet Public Demand for Climate Services Posters

Session Description:
Given the rising cost and frequency of climate-related hazards in the United States, bond agencies are sending  strong market signals to municipalities to enhance climate resilience. In turn, there is growing demand for climate services that allow local decision makers to incorporate information about climate hazards into their management of assets and protection of populations for which they are responsible. What capabilities exist among data and service providers to foster local approaches to climate resilience? In this session, members of the climate service provider community will characterize gaps and opportunities in this emergent “Resilience Ecosystem.” This panel discussion will include real-time audience feedback regarding effective ways for public and private partners to produce resources and expertise to help communities build climate resilience while improving service provision overall.
