Session Description:
The Global Environmental Change Focus Group sponsors the Stephen Schneider Memorial Lecture at the Fall AGU meeting. Dr. Schneider, the Melvin and Joan Lane Professor for Interdisciplinary Environmental Studies, professor of biological sciences, professor (by courtesy) of civil and environmental engineering, and a senior fellow in the Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford University, died on 19 July 2010 at the age of 65 while traveling in Europe.
