Multisectoral Modeling and Management of Climate Change Impacts Posters

Session Description:
Climate change affects many economic and societal sectors.Climate change interacts with other major drivers of global change, such as land-use change, population growth, or economic development. For a relevant and accurate assessment of the impacts of climate change, impacts must be integrated across sectors Accurate assessment of the impacts under climate change also requires better understanding and improving the model representation of various human managements (i.e., reservoir regulations) that significant altered the natural systems. This session invites research that contributes to holistic impact assessment– for example, by studying impacts in multiple sectors; or by using methods that allow comparison across sectors (e.g. a consistent model simulation framework such as ISIMIP); or by attributing observed or projected impacts to different drivers. Advances and efforts made to represent reservoir and other human management processes in detail, and discussions on performance and uncertainties associated with existing models on management processes are also invited.
