Session Description:
The consequences of landslides are severe across the world, impacting human life, infrastructure, and natural environment. This session will cover a broad range of landslide science, exploring the multi-faceted topic of landslide monitoring using InSAR method and time series analysis technique, landslide modeling and hazard assessment through physical, statistical, and empirical approaches, and landslide early-warning addressing triggering and controlling parameters including hydrologic, geotechnical, and seismic factors. These topics will be explored through the use of current or future remote sensing missions, field-based, and in-situ investigations.
