Join a panel of former policy fellows, who currently or recently worked as staff in congressional offices and at federal agencies, to discuss what it’s like to be a scientist working in federal policy. The panelists will cover the rewards and challenges of working on Capitol Hill, what they've learned about policy since leaving academia, and how their scientific expertise helps to inform decision-making at the federal level. Get the insider perspective about how things really work in policy.
