H24D:
Exotic Carbonate Deposits as Clues for External Forcing: Case Studies to Evidence Records of Recent Environmental Changes Posters

Submit an Abstract to this Session

Session ID#: 6347

Session Description:
Non-conventional deposits are classified as carbonates from travertines, tufas, speleothems stromatoliths or various biological deposits. They have been found in many different environments and appear to present accurate records of palaeao-environmental change. This session aims at gathering all recent studies to discuss on the contribution of those environmental and processes records as indicators of water cycle adaptation to external forcing during the last centuries.
