Convective Cloud Processes Posters

Session Description:
Convective clouds play an important role in the global
 energy balance through vertical transport and distribution of water and energy through the depth
 of the atmosphere. Since the processes that determine 
the lifecycle of these clouds and their feedbacks 
operate over a large range of scales, it is particularly 
difficult to characterize their impact on the climate
 system. We solicit presentations on the observations, analysis and modeling of convective cloud processes that impact the lifecycle and parameterization of these cloud types. Topics include, but are not limited to: environmental forcing, convective initiation, up/downdraft dynamics, turbulence, cloud/precipitation microphysics, entrainment/detrainment, and radiative impacts.
