Abstract:
The Sustainable Development Goal no 14: Life below water is aim to Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources. By 2030, sustainably manage and protect marine and coastal ecosystems to avoid significant adverse impacts, including by strengthening their resilience, and take action for their restoration in order to achieve healthy and productive oceans is greater challenge which needs international students participation. Role of student and Young professional from different continent is important in marine and ocean conservation. Educational institutions, youth organisations and young minds are major resources for through Universities and Educational institutions to join the movement for creating skilled resources to achieve the sustainable development agenda by 2030. This presentation focuses the role of international educational institutes and students in Ocean, Marine and Coastal conservation; coastal and marine pollution; managing marine and coastal biodiversity; global youth initiatives in Ocean and marine science etc.The presentation aims on how to achieve the partnership of intentional student Networks, young professionals, researchers and scientist for Ocean, Marine and Coastal conservation and to increase the awareness of ocean and marine science among the students, youth and young professional from North-South through international partnership and Networks.
