Abstract:
Heat and freshwater fluxes in the Atlantic Ocean at 30S in 1993, 2003 and 2011 have been computed from three transoceanic sections and as result of an inverse model. While the northward heat transports presents a marginal increase, the southward freshwater flux has significantly decreased. These results are compared with the heat and freshwater fluxes in the Indian and Pacific Oceans in these three different decades.
