Abstract:
We present a new data set capturing high spatial and temporal liquid water flux into Greenland fjords and coastal seas. We use ERA forced regional models (MAR and RACMO) based runoff, snowfall, and precipitation at 1 km spatial and daily temporal resolution from 1979 through 2017. Model outputs are routed through a 90 m digital elevation model to determine where the water flows. Runoff is routed from the ice sheet and land to the coast, where basin outlets accumulate upstream runoff and deliver it to the fjord.
