Session Description:
An update from the U.S. National Science Foundation, Division of Ocean Sciences, regarding recent developments in research funding, infrastructure, and education.  A budgetary outlook and discussion of Division of Ocean Sciences Initiatives throughout the Division portfolio will be presented.  Dr. Terrence Quinn, Division Director, will provide a brief presentation, to be followed by a question-and-answer session.  National Science Program Officers will also be present to provide additional information as needed.
