TH35D:
Data FAIR: Ocean Data Integration – Challenges, Successes, Tools, and Platforms

Session ID#: 92262

Session Description:
Earth, space, and environmental scientists are pushing the boundaries of human understanding of our complex world every day.  They seek and use larger and more varied data in their research with a growing need for data integration and synthesis across scientific domains.  Data repositories are a critical resource to the research ecosystem providing data, information and tools that enable the use and understanding of the data. Value added services that support needed data integration provide efficiencies for researchers.  Our panel will discuss the challenges and successes repository managers and service providers have in providing support and services to researchers interested in accessing and using data from multiple sources and scientific domains with the intention of integration.
