Model-data Synthesis of Complex CPU-intensive System Models: Application to Geophysics, Hydrology and Ecology
Abstract:
In this talk I will highlight some of our recent work in geophysics, ecology, and hydrology on modeling complex systems with specific emphasis on uncertainty quantification of CPU-intensive parameter-rich models. This also includes a discussion of recent advances in process-based model calibration and evaluation.
