Abstract:
Fast solar wind measurements from the Bright Monitor of the Solar Wind instrument
onboard the Spektr-R spacecraft are presented. This instrument measures plasma
parameters with time resolution as high as 30 ms. These measurements provide a preview of what the fast Faraday cup detectors on Triana and Solar Probe Plus will observe. We will compare solar wind structures observed at Spektr-R at high time-resolution with lower cadence observations from Wind. We will describe the small-scale plasma parameters in these solar wind structures.
