Abstract:
Carbon dioxide is the greatest contributor to climate forcing. The ability to make rapid, high accuracy measurements of CO2 and water on airborne platforms would allow for more accurate temporal and spatial measurements for use in climate models. This work ultimately targets the development of instruments for medium sized UAVs and manned aircraft yielding 1 ppb CO2 dry air corrected accuracy at 10 Hz.
